Transparent Solar Cells: The Future of Power
These cells are created by Ubiquitous Energy. According to the MIT Technology Review, they started working on this project back in 2013. Now three years later they are almost ready to bring their product to market. As they say on their website (link above), their ClearView Power Technology will allow for any transparent surface to gather solar power without losing its transparency.

Primo Toys, a UK based company, has recently released a new product. This product will allow the children of today to be more logically and technologically in tune people. They call their amazing new product Cubetto. This adorable little cube has been designed to interact with the accompanying board, allowing children to learn logical processes, without the need for a screen or even the ability to read.
ReFlex: The World’s First Bendable Smartphone
The Human Media Lab (HML) at Queen’s University has just come out with a prototype for a bendable touch screen smartphone. They call it ReFlex. This phone not only bends, but reacts to how it is being bent. This phone is an incredible advancement in the field of mobile devices. With the recent outbreak of people complaining about their iPhone 6 bending in their pocket, this phone will solve all of their problems, because not only can it bend, it is supposed to.
Google and D-Wave’s Quantum Computer
Back in 2013, Google acquired a Canadian company that claimed to have designed a quantum computer. This computer was designed by a company called D-Wave. Ever since Google purchased this company, there has been controversy over the legitimacy of its ability to actually compute things using quantum physics. Optimally a quantum computer should be able to compute answers to optimization problems that would not be able to be computed on a regular computer.
5D Data Storage: The Hard Drives of the Future
Scientists at the University of Southampton have devised a new way to store information. These storage devices allow the user to store information on a circular piece of glass. These pieces of glass are then able to be read and rewritten as the user chooses. These devices can store enormous amounts of information for longer than you will ever need.

Man Builds Iron Man-esque Exoskeletons
This Canadian Youtuber, Jason Hobson, whose channel name is the Hacksmith, had previously created an exoskeleton, for the upper body. that allowed him to curl 275 pounds, which he did for a live studio audience.
