Primo Toys, a UK based company, has recently released a new product. This product will allow the children of today to be more logically and technologically in tune people. They call their amazing new product Cubetto. This adorable little cube has been designed to interact with the accompanying board, allowing children to learn logical processes, without the need for a screen or even the ability to read.

How Does it Work?

Children can control this happy little cube by arranging the shapes on the board to create instructions. Each shape (which is also colour coded) refers to a certain instruction. For example, green is forward, red is right, yellow is left and blue is function. Once these instructions are input, the button is pressed and the instructions are acted out.

What Are the Benefits of Cubetto?

There are many benefits to this product. One of them is, as mentioned above, the fact that it will allow children to get introduced to logical processes in a kind of pseudocode. This is amazing because it will mean that more people will be introduced to programming at a young age, and it will maybe convince more people to choose it as  a profession. Cubetto also gets children to think in a more logical way from a younger age. This will promote critical thinking and improve intellect. Another important benefit is that it is advertised as gender neutral. This will promote more gender equality in computer science. This product looks like it is both fun and educational.

Where Can You Get One?

Primo Toys is currently hosting a Kickstarter campaign to fund their new product with shipping estimated at September 2016. Their Kickstarter page also has tons of information on the different accessories and add-ons that you can get, as well as many testimonials on how much people love this product.
