I don’t know about you but personally when I was a kid I loved building and playing with LEGO. Also whenever I was playing with the figurines I had one person who was me, or at least my LEGO representation of me. Now a company has come out with a way to make your LEGO experience more personal. A UK based company called Funky 3D Faces has devised a way, although not in partnership with LEGO, to 3D print a personalized head for any of your LEGO characters.
How Can You Get Your Own Funky 3D Faces?
All you have to do is go to their website and choose your character’s body, hairstyle an hair colour, then upload two photos, one facing the camera, the other a side profile. Once you have done all it just costs £29.99 ($43.19 US with current exchange rate), this includes the custom head, a free body for it to go on and free shipping. This is a pretty good price considering that it includes shipping, especially if you live outside of the UK.

Personally if I was a kid right now I would be begging my parents to got to Funky 3D Faces and get me and my brother our own personalized LEGO figurine heads. Being an adult I can just go buy it myself. This is a really interesting idea and it will hopefully become partnered with LEGO in the near future so that you can order personalized lego heads and maybe even vehicles and buildings in the near future.
