The new technology from ShiftWear allows the user to alter the design on their shoe using the companies app, that can be downloaded to your phone or tablet. This is a major leap towards personalized clothing, using technology. The ability to decide what design is on your shoes is amazing but the real feat lies in the shoes themselves.

According to the company’s website and their Indiegogo page, the shoes will be extremely durable, in fact the soles will be made with a layer of Kevlar Fibers, the same material that bullet proof vests are made of. This does not mean the shoes are bullet proof. They are however water proof and machine washable. The shoes have a flexible display that will allow for the shoes to be maneuvered like a normal shoe while allowing for a visible display in daylight. The shoe uses a technology called Walk-N-Charge that allows you to, as the name implies, charge the shoes while you walk. If you keep using them the battery should never die. Although if you are not using them constantly there is a way to charge them wirelessly. The shoes themselves come in three styles and five colours for each style.
